Advanced Corporate Finance
The primary objective of this concentration seminar is to provide first-year doctoral students an overview of introductory topics in corporate finance. We will focus on certain fundamental theoretical concepts of financial economics and basic techniques of and results from empirical work in corporate finance. Masters degree students should expect a rigorous course with substantial academic rather than applied content. Students should not attempt this course with an insufficient quantitative background (including a comprehension of subject material from Algebra,  Finite Mathematics, Calculus, Statistics and an introductory finance course.
